AMNH 77372 is an upper molar which resembles the teeth described by Clemens (1966, p. 15) as Alphadon cf. A. rhaister obtained from the Lance Formation of Wyoming. Another tooth, AMNH 77371, is also a large lower molar morphologically similar to teeth of Alphadon cf. A. rhaister. These two teeth are provisionally included within Alphadon cf. A. rhaister. Both teeth are morphologically different from corresponding teeth of Boreodon matutinus. The status of Alphadon cf. A. rhaister is subject to question.
