Hyperalonia oenomaus Rondani, 1875 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1875c: 453. TYPE LOCALITY: “ Insula Bonae Fortunae (Borneo), Provincia Sarawak [Bona Fortuna Island, Sarawak Province, Borneo]” (Rondani 1875c: 421). TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, holotype (MSNG): Ceylon / typus / oenomaus Rond. / Hyperalonia oenomaus n° 58. CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Ligyra oenomaus (Bowden 1975: 184, Evenhuis & Greathead 1999: 408, 2015: 424). REMARKS: Rondani (1875c: 453) described Hyperalonia oenomaus, without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens, but giving a single measurement of length, from material collected by G. Doria and O. Beccari. Rondani (1875c) dealt with species from Borneo but the MSNG specimen is labeled “ Ceylon ”.
