The paper deals with some nominal inflectional forms, those of the accusative case, in the minority variety of the Slavic of Molise. Attention is particularly focused on the keeping of these case forms in nouns (in the different functions they cover and in comparison with the other case forms) and use of speakers. In a perspective of language decay and language death (and therefore of language contact) the stdy consideres their resistance to change (and erosion) through the observation of productions of speakers, who are grouped acording to two main variables: ‘frequency of use of the Slavic variety’ and ‘age’, both chosen as they paly a great role in language systems changes in contact bilingual and language obsolescence and loss contexts
