The article is focused on the language of tourism and on the analysis of some terms and syntagms which technical and cultural peculiarity may pose some problems in terms of finding right equivalents when drafting a specialistic dictionary. The examples try to show that it is very important for the drafter to take into consideration different degrees of interlinguistic equivalence, as well as connotative and contextual levels and when necessary the use of phraseology and explicative notes
