Idioscopus clypealis

Idioscopus clypealis (Lethierry, 1889) (Figs 38 a–c and 54a–b) Recorded damage and economic importance in the orchards of Iran: A pest on mango and tropical fruits (Pezhman & Rajabi 2002; Koliayee et al. 2012; Saeed et al. 2013) Recorded damage in the orchards of other parts of the world: An economic pest in Pakistan, India, southeast Asia and Australia (Fletcher & Dangerfield 2002; Varshneya & Ranam 2008) Recorded distribution in Iran: Southeast (Mozaffarian & Wilson 2016). Conclusion: Pezhman & Rajabi (2002) mentioned the species as the most serious pest on mango and the main factor of crop losses in Southern Iran.
