In internal combustion engines is one of the most important factors controlling the combustion process. It governs the fuel-air mixing and burning rates in diesel engines. The main drawback is incomplete combustion of fuel - air in a combustion chamber. This is due to emissions of pollution and the performance of the diesel engine become lowered.
