The two-phase flow in a rib-roughened duct representing the internal cooling channel of a turbine blade is here presented. The flow field was calculated by means of the k-ε-ζ-f elliptic relaxation model and validation against LES data was carried out. The well-validated T-FlowS FV code was used for computations. Particle laden flow is simulated assuming realistic particle characteristics. Particles are transported by carrier flow (here modeled with a steady RANS) using an one-way coupling approach in a Lagrangian framework. Impact and adhesion mechanisms are modeled using the Thornton and Ning approach aiming at identifying the regions where deposit occurs.
