All parasitic stages have been recovered from Charadriiformes: Laridae, Pelecaniformes: Threskiornithidae, Procellariiformes: Diomedeidae, and Suliformes: Phalacrocoracidae and Sulidae; adults and nymphs have been collected from Strigiformes: Tytonidae; nymphs alone have been taken from Procellariiformes: Procellariidae (Heath & Palma 2017).
