hemerocallis Crawford, 1948 (Figs 6, 33, 67, 97, 132) Described from USA, this dark bodied thrips has been found in Central America and Japan in association with Hemerocallis lilies. In Brazil, Lima (1997) recorded several females on Crotalaria indica (Fabaceae) in São Paulo. This species has bicoloured fore wings and lacks metanotal campaniform sensilla.
