Terpenoids: Part XXXVI. A Convenient route for the Syntheses of lsopropenylic Terpenes

Through the application of lithium vinyl copper reagent; a· new method of synthesising isopropenylic terpenes has been developed. Based upon this technique, the new and facile syntheses of \(\beta\)-terpineol, (\(\pm\)). carvestrene, (\(\pm\)) dipentene,(\(\pm\)) 1-methyl-4-isopropenyl cyclohexane and(\(\pm\)) isopulegone have been achieved
