BACKGROUND: Early-stage endometrial cancer and complex atypical hyperplasia are treated with hysterectomy and bilateral salpin-go-oophorectomy. An emerging issue among younger women affected is the possibility of a fertility-sparing treatment with progestative therapy and close follow-up.
