Diagnosis Callipia occulta stat. rev. was put into synonymy with C. constantinaria by Parsons et al. (1999), following Prout’s catalogue in the British Museum (Natural History). However, the yellow blotch on the forewing is much more restricted in C. constantinaria than in C. occulta stat. rev., moreover, C.constantinaria appears to be a bit smaller than C. occulta stat. rev. The comparison of the genitalia is not possible since the final segments of the abdomen are missing in the holotype of C. constantinaria.
