In neuroophthalmological diagnosis, the visual field can detect neurological pathologies along the visual pathway. By means of a simple personal computer with standard peripherals it is possible to examine the central visual field. In the last years a similar technique has been also employed to test the chromaticity perception: this test allowed to discriminate between normal subjects and patients affeted by multiple sclerosis or glaucoma
