Background: The prevalence of depression and anxiety in diabetes is considerably higher than normal population and found to have a negative impact on diabetes. Objective of the study was to assess the prevalence of depression and anxiety and to identify their associated risk factors among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: Descriptive study was done in Endocrine and medicine outpatient Department of Vijaya Hospital in Belagavi, South India.
