A phenomenon seems to characterise present-day law, a transformation that fully and profoundly involves constitutional scholarship and its way of being. We are in fact plainly witnessing - especially of late - a progressive deformalisation of legal categories, and of the language and syntax proper to jurists. Perhaps this involves not a mere simple loss of the categories, language or syntax of law, but an uncontrolled multiplication thereof, with the risk of producing - if it has not already done so - increased difficulty of dialogue among devotees of the same discipline, each working in an ambit of meaning different from that of the others.
