The study provides an overview of Millennium Development Goals that relates to the promotion of girl-child education of Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna state. It provides a theoretical framework on girl child education within the context of Millennium Development Goals. The study is enriched with the administration of a total of 200 questionnaires and an in-depth interview session. The data collected are analyzed using simple descriptive statistical tools like frequency and percentage distribution. It enumerates the objectives, strategies, activities, achievements, and good practices of promotion of girl child education for development in the selected local government area.
