Vender censales, asistir a los necesitados: La emisión de deuda municipal en Barcelona en el siglo XV

The starting point of this text are the years prior to the outbreak of the Catalan civil war (1462-1472) and the state of Barcelona’s finances at that time, specifically its public debt. In this market intervened a wide range of the late medieval society, including a number of assistance institutions, among them the Hospital of the Santa Creu.
