RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TIGA VARIETAS KEDELAI TERHADAP DOSIS VERMIKOMPOS PADA TANAH ULTISOL

Soybean is a highly profitable crop. However, because the availability of fertile land limits soybean farming, vermicompost fertilization is considered necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction, vermicompost dose, and soybean varieties on the growth and yield of ultisol-grown soybean varieties. This research was conducted between January and May 2021 at Beringin Raya, Kandang Limun Village, Bengkulu, at an elevation of 7 meters above sea level. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design with two treatment factors, namely soybean varieties (Gepak Kuning, Anjasmoro, and Grobogan) and a dose of vermicompost fertilizer, to produce 9 combinations of treatments and 27 experimental units (0, 5, and 10 tons ha-1). The Grobogan variety had the best interaction effect on the weight of 100 seeds with a vermicompost dose of 10 tons ha-1. For several growth variables, the addition of vermicompost dosage alone was able to increase growth by up to 5 tons ha-1. The Anjasmoro variety grew the best in Ultisol, as judged by plant height, leaf count, root dry root weight, shoot dry root weight, and root nodule count
