PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER CINTA TANAH AIR MELALUI PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN SIKAP NASIONALISME SISWA SMAN 1 KEDUNGWARU

Forming of the love for country character from an early age will indirectly establish an important role for the integrity of the country. Teenagers as the nation's next generation are subject to shape the love for country character. With this character, it is hoped that teenagers will also have an attitude of nationalism which will have an impact on the unity of the nation. Therefore, research was carried out at SMAN 1 Kedungwaru which aims to: 1. Find out how to shape the love for country character, 2. Explain the implementation of the love for country character, 3. Describe the manifestation of nationalism in the school environment. The method used in this research is qualitative. In the procedure, there are stages such as the pre-field stage, field work and data analysis. For data collection techniques is observation, interviews and documentation, equipped with research instruments in the form of interview guides, voice recorders and cameras. After obtaining the results of the research, then the data analysis was carried out to be classified in descriptive patterns such as data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The last one to test the validity of the data is done by triangulation and member check. The results of the ongoing research explain that basically there is no special way or effort to shape the character of love for the homeland. Civic education that already contain the values of Pancasila can indirectly shape the love for country character students of SMAN 1 Kedungwaru. And then the implementation of the love for country character is reflected in the implementation of ceremonial activities and by participating in extracurricular paskibraka and traditional dance arts. While the manifestation of the attitude of nationalism can be seen from the role of students who make they school proud and obey school rules and regulations
