In agriculture, water efficiency and balance of supply and demand in crops are essentials. The lack of knowledge in the infiltration process in gravity irrigation increases in high-demand crops such as corn, sorghum and beans. Knowing the moisture retention in agricultural soils is important to satisfy the demand in agriculture.
