Tripping Coil has a major effect on 150kV power termination equipment which must be ready to cut off the electrical circuit in the event of a disturbance. Analysis of the working ability of Tripping Coil on the 150kV Bay Capacitor power breaker at the Kotabumi Substation, aims to determine the cause of the decrease in the working ability of Tripping Coil and extend the Life Time of Tripping Coil. The final measurement results obtained the value of Tripping Coil resistance 1 phasa R 26.5Ω with Vnom (nominal voltage) calculated is 74.2 Vdc and Tripping Coil resistance 1 phasa T 26.1Ω with Vnom (nominal voltage) calculated is 74.2 Vdc which means it is still below the PLN standard (<77Vdc).
