This paper analyses in the study of the factors that most affect multihull vessels, and thus determine the feasibility of a new class of ships. It focuses on the impact of service requirements (vessels are typically designed and built under national standards that take into account different factors such as strength, stability, buoyancy, etc.) in a way they are able to withstand extreme environmental conditions with minimal damage, essential for correct and responsible operation.
