Status epilepticus (SE) is one of the most common neurological disorder in children, resulting from the failure of the mechanisms responsible for ending convulsive access or from the initiation of mechanisms, which start prolonged seizures. Objective of the study. An analysis of SE evolution amidst children with new onset seizures and previously pre-established epilepsy, by examining the types of crisis, EEG results and analyzing of the serum concentration of the antiepileptic drugs (AED).
