STUDI KASUS : KESIAPSIAGAAN KADER SIAGA BENCANA PASCA SIMULASI BENCANA GEMPA BUMI TANGGAL 12 JUNI 2022 DI RW 12 KELURAHAN PASIE NAN TIGO

Pasie Nan Tigo is one of the villages located in the Koto Tangah sub-district, Padang city, with a high level of vulnerability to earthquakes with a hazard index value which is included in the highest 1 in Padang City. Disaster preparedness is an important effort to be prepared so as to reduce the impact of a disaster. In this case, a cadre is someone who is closest to the community and knows well about the condition of the area, so that cadres play an important role in disaster preparedness such as providing information to the community regarding what to do during a disaster and post-disaster. This research has 7 (seven) participants. The selection of participants used purposive sampling technique. The data collected is in the form of recorded interviews which are equipped with interview guidelines, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study obtained two themes, namely 1) Knowledge after the earthquake disaster simulation, and 2) The role of cadres in dealing with disasters. It is hoped that with this research, cadres can collaborate with related parties such as PMI, BPBD or others to deepen and re-establish cadres' knowledge regarding disaster preparedness.
