AbstractFinancial performance in the company is a picture of changing conditions on the results that have been achieved to assess the financial health condition in good condition or vice versa as a reference for the company to move into the future. The purpose of this research is to determine the condition of the financial performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk as measured by the ratio of solvency and activity in the period 2017-2020.The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with dependent and independent variables. The population in this study is financial data for the 2017-2020 period of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used in this study is the balance sheet and income statement at PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for a period of 4 (four) years, namely 2017-2020.Abstrak Kinerja keuangan dalam perusahaan merupakan gambaran perubahan kondisi atas hasil-hasil yang sudah dicapai untuk menilai kondisi kesehatan keuangan dalam keadaan baik atau sebaliknya sebagai acuan perusahaan untuk melangkah ke masa yang akan datang. Tujuan dilakukanya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kondisi kinerja keuangan PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk yang diukur dengan rasio solvabilitas dan aktivitas pada periode 2017-2020.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif kualitatif dengan variabel dependen dan independen. populasi didalam penelitian ini merupakan data keuangan periode 2017-2020 PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk Yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI)
