First was evaluated if valid prognostic prediction models were available for making accurate predictions of recovery in patients with nonspecific neck pain. Additionally, the most common methodological and additional challenges in prognostic modelling in spinal pain were reviewed and discussed. Thereafter, prognostic prediction models for recovery in patients with nonspecific neck pain were developed and subjected to external validation
