The Stretched Salto with 1080 º Turn to Dismount on Horizontal Bar is a most difficult kind of movement. It has not been seen in Olympic Games or the World Championships. However, Xie Bo, and elite Gymnast in Shandong, accomplished this movement successfully in National Gymnastic Championships in 1992 and was awarded the first prize for original movement. The measuring method with high speed photography has been adopted to follow his traces to record the movement and make a biomechanical analysis so as to form a contrast between the relative parameters of a 1080 º stretched turn in acrobatic gymnastics and a 720 º stretched turn on the horizontal bar.
