Objective: to identify the effectiveness of clinical simulation based on experiential learning, as a theoretical-methodological framework, in comparison with different pedagogical strategies in nursing education. Method: systematic review, performed in the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online sources; Scopus, Web of Science, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, and Educational Resources Information Center.
