TRAINING OF MAKING LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON CHEMICAL REPRESENTATION FOR CHEMISTRY EDUCATION'S STUDENTS UNIVERSITY OF ISLAM KALIMANTAN

In chemistry, most of the material is abstract so there needs to be an approach that can connect abstract things with concrete things so that it becomes easier for students to understand. By developing learning mediathat connect the material 2 with the three aspects of chemical representation so as to improve the ability to understand the material being taught. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills in the making learning media based on chemical representation. This activity is carried out online through the Zoom meeting application in the form of material presentations, questions and answers, assignments, and evaluations. Participants in this activity were students of sixth grade of the Chemistry Education University of Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin. At the end of the activity, the trainer distributed response questionnaires to the participants. Based on the results of the response questionnaire, it shows that 1) the training materials provide new knowledge and skills, 2) the materials can help design learning media based on chemical representation, 3) the implementation of training was quite effective for participants, 4) the material for this training provides solutions to the needs and problems in student learning outcomes, 5) Knowledge/skills can be used in making chemistry learnin
