Profitabilitas Usaha Tani Jambu Biji Di Desa Perawang Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak

This study aims to analyze: (1) Farmer characteristics and farming profiles of guava; (2) cultivation techniques, use of production factors, production costs, production, income, and farming efficiency; and (3) The profitability level of guava farming in Perawang Barat Village. This study used a survey method, located in Perawang Barat Village, Tualang District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The Respondent was taken by census with a population of 31 people. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that: (1) The characteristics of guava farmers were: the average age of the farmers was 44.10 years (productive); 10.26 years of education (high school equivalent); experience in farming was 8 years; and family dependents was 4 people. Farming profile shows that: the average area of 0.25 ha, capital was Rp. 16,479,763, and the number of workers were 4 people. (2) In guava farming shows: The production cost incurred is Rp. 11,861,108/year, consisting of variable costs of Rp. 11,663,173 (98.33%) and fixed costs of Rp. 197,935/year (1.67%); The gross income is Rp. 33,743,768/year, with a production of 4,821 kg and a price of Rp. 7,000/kg; the net income is Rp. 21,882,504/year. Efficiency or RCR is obtained at 2,91, which means that it is profitable and worth working on. (3) The profitability of guava farming shows that guava farming is profitable, with GPM showing a value of 65,28%, NPM of 64,95%, and ROI of 131,01%
