This study aims to determine the results and inhibiting factors Performance Monitoring of the village head by the Village Consultative Body In the Village Hangtuah District Perhentian Raja Kampar Regency. The indicators for monitoring the performance of the Village Head by the Village Consultative Body that are used include, Establishing measurement tools (Standards), Conducting Assessments (Evaluations), and Establishing Corrective Action. This type of research, located in Hangtuah Village, Perhentian Raja Subdistrict is descriptive qualitative, which is collected in the form of words, field notes, interview photos, observations and documentation as a means of data collection, and identification, clarified in accordance with the research objectives. There were seven informants in this study, the Head of Hangtuah Village, Village Secretary, Chairperson of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM), Head of Dusun (Kadus), Rukun residents (RW), chairman of the Village Consultative Body, and Secretary of the Village Consultative Body. Types of data collection consist of primary data, secondary data. While technical analysis of the data is clarified with the results of interviews, observations, documentation, the data is processed and analyzed to explain the research objectives, then compared with theories related to the title of the researcher to conclude that the supervision of the performance of the village head by the Village Consultative Body is still lacking optimal
