Nilai Estetika Tari Zapin Riau Gemilang Di Sanggar Seni Bi Production Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau

This study aims to collect data and solve every problem raised in this paper regarding the aesthetic value of the zapin riau gemilang dance at the BI Production Art Studio, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The zapin riau gemilang dance is a dance of creations. The zapin riau gemilang dance is a dance inspired by a combination of two cultures originating from two districts, Pelalawan and Bengkalis, Riau Province. This dance was created in 2016. This dance describes the cultural tradition of social interaction of the Malay community which is dominant in the Riau Gemilang Zapin Dance, namely the variety of footwork. This dance has got a touch of creativity so that it becomes a form of entertainment dance for the people of Riau. The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the Aesthetic Value of the Zapin Riau Gemilang Dance at the BI Production Art Studio, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province? This study used qualitative methods and the research subjects were 6 people as sources. Data collection techniques used are: observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the Aesthetic Value of Zapin Riau Gemilang Dance at the BI Production Art Studio in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, can be seen from the elements of its beauty value, namely: form or form can be in the form of shapes and structures such as motion, make-up and clothing, music, floor design, dynamics, stage setting, and lighting. The weight or content can be in the form of atmosphere, ideas or ideas, and the message conveyed in the glorious zapin riau gemilang dance.
