Pretreatment processes such as wet oxidation and acidic pretreatment require high temperature and pressure and may also favor in microbial formation. Ionic liquids (ILs) pretreatment is an alternative to current method due to high dissolution capacity for different constituent of biomass. However, ILs with high viscosity limit the mass transfer between biomass.
