Oil palm solid waste(OPSW)has the potential to be converted into liquid fuels and chemicals. The are limited work on upgrading as most research produced bio oil in lab scale. Hence, the technicaland economy feasibilitiesanduncertaintiesof upgrading bio oil OPSW into liquid fuels and chemicals are unknown. This study aims to identify the bio oil components from fast pyrolysis of OPSW and design processesthat converts the bio oil into liquid fuels and chemicals. Technical and economyfeasibilitiesand uncertainties wereevaluated. Bio oil yield obtained from fast pyrolysis experiments conducted withpalm kernel shell (PKS), oil palm frond (OPF), and empty fruit bunch (EFB)were 59wt%, 37wt% and 34wt%
