The aim of this research is to investigate the structural geology of Semanggol Formation in the area of Pokok Sena at Kampung Rambutan, Kedah. It was found that many researches focused on research for north and central Kedah, but not much research has been done in Kampung Rambutan. Thus, the author aims to evaluate the dominant stress orientation at Pokok Sena area focusing on deformation within the Chert member so that a preliminary structural history of the Semanggol Formation in the Pokok Sena area can be developed
