Gua Sai is a limestone hill ( ) located in about 8km Northwest of Kuala Lipis town ship in Pahang. The total height of the limestone hill is about 30 metres and covered with thick vegetation. The limestones of Gua Sai are believed to be part of the uplifted Permian-Triassic limestone formations which is widely distributed in Southeast Asia during major geological events of faulting and subduction in the past. Petrographic study suggests that the limestones of Gua Sai are mostly calcitic mudstone which is light grey in colour and dolomitic limestone in dark brown colour.
