Conventional transparent conductive films (TCF) used indium tin oxide (ITO) as the conductive material but the issues with film brittleness, low infrared transmittance, scarcity of indium, and high-cost of the preparation procedure limits the mass production of flexible TCF. Carbon nanotube (CNT) and graphene are two promising alternatives to replace ITO-based TCF due to its high electrical conductivity, excellent mechanical strength, flexibility and transparency, and optical properties.
