ONE-STOP PORTAL FOR POST GRADUATE STUDENTS

We are making a web portal that is designed to allow easier interaction between members and faculties of Computer & Information Sciences Department. We implement functionalities that will allow the removal of processes and procedures that are currently done manually. We also provide all means to let our visitors find the information they need in a timely fashion. This project is to facilitate post graduate students including Master and PhD students in interacting with their main supervisor as well as second supervisor if there is any. Plus it is aimed to provide completely new way of posting announcement from administrator and lecturer’s side. With this project up running, time spent on running from department head’s office to department head’s office will be happily eliminated and students will be provided a complete working platform that they can update the GA form easily. With existing technology and tool like Joomla framework and PHP, JavaScript and jQuery the JavaScript framework this project is feasibly possible to be completed in two semesters or at least, the developer surely provided the working prototype will all the basic function and workflow
