The presence of Iron and Calcium in condensate water can cause damaged to equipment lead to corrosion and scaling in the pipeline. This would lead to equipment failure for [2]. Iron ion also would harm human being as well as to the environment. In this study, ion exchange treatment was chosen to be applied to treat the conndensate water. Ion exchange is a reversible chemical reaction wherein ion from the solution is exchanged for a similarly charged ion attached to the resins.
