PENGARUH GAME ONLINE TERHADAP AKHLAK REMAJA DI DESA KOTARATU KABUPATEN ENDE

This study aims to determine the effect of online games on adolescents in Kotaratu Village, Ende Regency. This research is motivated by the increase in time to play online games for adolescents since the emergence of Covid-19 so that the emergence of a deviant moral phenomenon in adolescents. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence and how much influence online games have on the morals of teenagers in Kabupeten Ende. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of comparative causal research. The subjects used in this study were adolescent children in Kotaratu Village, Ende Regency with a population of 150 and taken as much as 20% to be used as a sample, then the sample in this study was 30 adolescent children. The data collection used is questionnaires and observations. The results of this study show that there is an influence between online games and adolescent morals. This is evidenced by a simple linear regression test with a correlation value (R) of 0.269 meaning that there is a relationship between variable X (online games) and variable Y (adolescent morals). While the value of the coefficient of determination (R squaere) is 0,172, if it is made in percentage form to 1,27%. This shows that there is an influence between online games on adolescent morals by 17,2% and the rest is influenced by other factors
