The purpose of this study is to find out what forms of gambling are in Boyolali Regency, what efforts have been made by the police in order to eradicate gambling crimes in the Boyolali Regency area, and to find out all the obstacles faced in the context of controlling gambling in Boyolali Regency. the area. The research method used is qualitative, because what is discussed concerns reality, in this case law enforcement efforts by the police against gambling crimes in Boyolali Regency, factors causing gambling, and obstacles from the police in eradicating gambling crimes in Boyolali Regency. Data obtained from primary data and secondary data. For the type of primary data, data collection is done in two ways, namely, observation (observation) and interviews (interview). Secondary data collection was carried out by means of library research and content analysis of documents, archives, primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Interpretation of the data to capture the meaning and the relationship between the meanings behind the data information. Then presented the relationship of meanings based on the mindset of the informants. From the results of the study, it can be seen that in general, gamblers are the poor or the lower classes, so that this has many consequences, both for themselves, their families and the environment. To overcome this gambling crime, it is carried out through three efforts, namely pre-emptive (with counseling), preventive (prevention) and repressive (investigation, arrest, and sentencing)
