STUDI EVALUASI SISTEM JARINGAN SALURAN DRAINASE PADA RUAS JALAN JUPRI BANDULAN KECAMATAN SUKUN KOTA MALANG

Every year, the city of Malang experiences an increase in population. This causes green open land to change its function into residential land, so that there is less green open land. Green open land itself has a function to absorb rainwater and surface water. So when it rains, there are several points in the city of Malang that experience puddles and even floods. On the Jupri Bandulan road, Malang city often occurs inundation when it rains with high intensity. This is because the drainage channel is no longer able to accommodate the volume of the existing water discharge, causing the road to be inundated and disrupting access on the road. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate several channels in order to overcome these problems. In conducting the evaluation, the frequency analysis method used is Log Pearson Type III, and the frequency distribution suitability test uses the Smirnov-Kolmogorov and Chi-Square methods. After the evaluation was carried out, it was found that several channels were already in an unsafe condition to accommodate the design flood discharge volume. So it is necessary to re-plan some channels with these unsafe conditions. Several channels that require replanning of dimensions are channels 4-5, ka 5-6, ka 6-7, ka 7-8, ka 8-34. In the re-planning of the channel dimensions, the dimensions changed are the addition of the channel width by 20 cm in each channel segment
