PERENCANAAN TEBAL PERKERASAN LENTUR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BINA MARGA 2017 DAN METODE AASHTO 1993 (Studi Kasus Ruas Jalan Gorontalo Outer Ring Road)

The road is the most important part and have big influence the economic growth of social culture, politics, and also one of facilities that help in distributing goods, people, and service from one place to another. Gorontalo Outer Ring Road Highway is an alternative road that connects city center and 2 districts. Gorontalo Outer Ring Road Highway in its construction uses flexible pavement planning due to the increasing volume of traffic, as well as large vehicles passing through this road exceeding the planned capacity. The length of Gorontalo Outer Ring Road Highway used in this study is 5000 m and width is 7.0 m. The methods used in this research are 2, namely The Pavement Design Manual Method (MDP) and AASHTO 1993, after which it is continued with the calculation of the Budget Plan (RAB). In the thick planning of bending pavement that is first done is collecting the necessary data in the planning such as land CBR data, vehicle LHR data, road network layout and unit price standardization data. Based on the results of planning the thickness of each pavement, the total thickness for the 2017 Bina Marga method is 440 mm. While the total thickness of the 1993 AASHTO method is 330 mm. The calculation of the 2017 Bina Marga method cost budget plan amounted to Rp. 17.786.332.922. for the 1993 AASHTO method work amounted to Rp. 18.786.321.922. of the two methods there is a difference of Rp.932.816.000
