This research aims to find out about sexuality and resistancethrough the main character as a sex slave in The Handmaid's Talenovel. The writer uses qualitative descriptive analysis of the study andthe concepts of second sex and sexual politics by Simone de Beauvoirand Kate Millet as basic theories. The writer uses the data throughsymbols, values, and narration through the main character. The resultsare according to the concept of the second sex, where Offred'ssexuality is the other in the Handmaid's Tale novel.
