In this thesis, we present a realistic simulation and event reconstruction for an innovative positron emission tomography (PET) detection module based on the ClearMind patented technology. ClearMind design uses a large monolithic PbWO₄ scintillating crystal with the direct deposition of the bialkali photoelectric layer. Due to the simultaneous production and efficient detection of scintillation and Cherenkov photons, we plan to reach the 3D spatial resolution of the order of a mm, the coincidence resolving time of less than 100 ps, and high detection efficiency.
