Natural Environment and Agricultural Development Problems in the Hills of the Imbo Region : the Case of Kabezi in South of Bujumbura. Agricultural development of Kabezi landscapes is conditioned by three fundamental factors. The first factor is the relief, which is the result of a very complex geological evolution characterized mainly by tectonic and climatic events of ancient and recent times. The network of slopes which prevails throughout the western portion of Burundi, and of which the Kabezi area forms a part, is the direct result of a series of various morphogenic crises.
