Water Control in the Kinoni basin. Located in Ruhengeri district (North West of Rwanda). Kinoni basin displays important water resources. It has many perennial fountains despite its small size (30 km²). On that geographical surface, water causes important damages to crops (erosion and floods) and to infrastructures (destruction of roads, bridges, houses...). Facing that situation, local peasants have adopted some strategies to reduce water damages, but its control is yet to be completed. In addition, hydraulic resources are well used on Kinoni basin.
