From the model of quality of life and person-centered care (Kitwood, 1997), we present a case study with the aim of evaluating the benefit of Snoezelen multisensory stimulation (SMS) in an 88-year-old subject with unspecified dementia, GDS6, andrecurrent depressive disorder. For this purpose, a pretest-posttest design was chosen, with an intervention consisting of one weekly Snoezelen session for five weeks. To assess the effects of the intervention, a record of the physiological and behavioral profile of the person was used. The results include both the immediate effects of SMS and those after two hours.
