Rreeding seasonality in rodents has been studied in a Guinean savanna at Foro-foro, 25 kilometres North of Rouaké, Ivory Coast. Detailed data are given for the two most abundant species Lemniscomys striatus and Myomys daltoni, and available information for less abundant ones is reviewed. Rreeding is always seasonal, with two definite peaks, from February to April, and during June. Litter size also varies during the year, the first litters beeing the smallest. Uterine resorption of embryos has been found in Lemniscomys striatus, Myomys daltoni and Tatera sp.
