Today, beside the prehistorians who try to decipher the vestiges of the past with tools of high technology, poets and artists of any kind see in the prehistory a lost world, a golden age, whose only access would be the poetry.Today, the word "prehistory" has entered the common language and we can even say that it is very popular. However, it does not evoke the same thing according to whether one is an adult or a child, a specialist or a neophyte, a writer, a psychologist, a philosopher, an anthropologist, a linguist or a physicist.De tous temps, les hommes se sont interrogés sur leurs origines. Longtemps, ce passé nébuleux qu’ils avaient peine à imaginer a fait l’objet de constructions hasardeuses plus proches des mythes et légendes que d’une quelconque histoire de l’homme . Aujourd’hui, à côté des préhistoriens qui tentent de décrypter les vestiges du passé avec des outils de haute technologie, poètes et artistes de toute sorte voient dans la préhistoire un monde perdu, un âge d’or, dont le seul accès serait la poésie.Aujourd’hui, le mot « préhistoire » est entré dans le langage courant et on peut même dire qu’il est très populaire.
